Guitar truths for the poor man. There are so many guitars in the world I would venture to say that they are literally uncountable. And your chance of getting a cheap good playing instrument is 100% guaranteed if you have a little savvy and knowledge under your belt. And if you have some reasonable luthier knowledge you're on your way to really getting the most out of almost any guitar you find. There are bargains everywhere if you know what to look for and can ascertain an instruments condition and potential. And right now is probably the best time in history to do it with the millions of decent cheap guitars that only need a good setup and possible fret dressing to bring them on par with more expensive instruments. It's actually crazy. I don't know how many cheap guitars I've had people bring me for setups over the last couple years that I was impressed how good they were after some love and many were good right off the bat only needing minor attention. Yep, It's a great time to be a poor musician. 🤘 #Guitar #RocknRoll

Here is strange thing. I was on eBay back in 2007 and saw 1993 MIJ Start neck for €300 and decide to buy it. I bought a USA Fender Swamp Ash body, Fender gold hardware, electrics, SCN pickups and built it. It took me a day to do the built. The guitar sounded like Knopfler / Gilmour and was so happy. I had actually read that MIJ necks were better that the USA necks. About a month after this I got an Ebay message from the Spanish guy I bought it from wanting me to sell it back to him for the same cost or come to arrangement. He had bought a Fender USA Maple neck and fitted it to his MIJ body and said it changed the whole sound of the guitar, and the feel was not as good. I did not sell it back to him. It seems every bit of the guitar changes the sound of it, especially playing it clean. Here it is >
