@dogsnotbarking I wonder if we could modulate fluency in generated language and speech to signal the level of confidence of the model? I assume this has been studied. Pointers?

As we encounter synthetic language output, it is very difficult not to extend trust in the same way as we would with a human. An overlay of apparent fluency does not, despite appearances, entail accuracy, informational value, or trustworthiness. #ChatGPT
