A story for the ages. Animation Style: You already know this team is goated in this field! Pixar, Disney, ILM, Dreamworks and more. As always we are experimenting with new visual styles to bring the Hooligan universe to life in a fresh ways that feels cinematic yet true to the game. Casting Concepts & Character Arcs: We’re crafting compelling arcs for fan-favorite characters and exploring talent options to voice your most loved (and most-hated) Hooligans! We know who you are! Yeah you! Partnerships We’re actively exploring collaborations with other studios, streaming platforms and distributors to bring the film to a global audience. Hooligans are made for the big screen! Community Integration Expect community driven content initiatives, polls, contests and involvement to help shape elements of the film’s story, humor and style. You are on this journey with us! Promises are cheap, but delivery is rare. The last couple of weeks we had some major announcements with Xbox, Studio Chain, Arbitrum, IGN & Steam. Our roadmap is alive and kicking and we’re powering through the milestones! Yet there is much more still to come.... To that end, here is an update 👇 Web3 & Blockchain - Web3 shouldn't be an option, it should be the standard! - Blockchain: If you have not already heard, the KARRAT Foundation has teamed up with Arbitrum and Caldera to launch Studio Chain. My Pet Hooligan is expecting to start testing on Studio Chain Testnet imminently. This will give us the architecture and platform to start to deliver on all of our Web3 goals, sinks and activations in the way we want with great efficiency and with $KARRAT at the heart of it all. We're gonna get creative, we're gonna have fun. This is BIG for our next phase and rollout and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store. - Website: You may have seen our new Website is also up, this introduces a new UI that will extend across the user account system and marketplace. In the coming weeks you will start to see more features go live on the site and account system including game stats and the ability to connect multiple wallets. Street Kred will also be coming back, as will the Zuckbot claims feature. That reminds us, Street Kred rewards for last month are ready to go out! - Wallet solution: A new embedded wallet solution is imminent that will live in the user accounts process, this will automatically be able to make you a wallet as a new user with one-click. This is to help to onboard more traditional, less crypto savvy, gamers to crypto - WinVote: Constantly under development. The next push is imminent and will improve UI and Quality of Life, there will also be some back–end reconfiguration to clear out some of the bugs. - Street Kred: SK for ownership is ready and will be available in the next build. You will start to accrue SK just by holding MPH assets. This will be in a basic form to start with as we test it. We know there is a lot of community discussion around multipliers, so stay tuned for more on that. The Game - A new build is due imminently and as always there are new things to expect! - World Events System: MVP of the world event system is in! This will facilitate events, missions and activities intimately tied to the story and lore of the MPH universe. - Hideouts V1: We have been teasing Hideouts and the first version of this will be available in the new build. Hideouts will service an entirely different player with a focus on exploration, collecting and NFT extracting Console Program: The console program is a huge focus for the studio right now and has always been important for distribution and getting to a demographic of players we know want and need MPH in their lives. It's been apparent from the years of events we have hit, that consoles were a major play for MPH and it is no longer a dream but a reality. You have heard by now MPH is coming to Xbox. Xbox isn't the only console out there either so expect to hear about more soon… - AI: Early experiments in integrating AI characters into the MPH game. The Others & AI integration focus is now on the game side and how the game can be used as a distribution method for the technology too. - We are getting in a great place in terms of fundamentals and distribution. We are now working hard on elements to boost retention and attract new players with a focus on engaging game loops. Make sure you wishlist on Steam and Xbox too! - More Good Stuff, Good Stuff to look forward to include weapon skins, animations, a new battle zone and seeing your Zuckbots in the game. These may make it in this build, if not shortly after! The Movie - This will be getting its own thread! Expect an update soon and get ready to see the new poster. It's a banger and you're gonna want it on your wall! Tournaments & esports - Next on the schedule is the MPH 4v4 Swiss Invitational in April! - 16 teams per region, each with a $5000 prize pool - South America 5th April, North America 6th April, Europe 12th April & Asia 13th April 2025 - This is an invite only tournament, however if you want to get involved its easy to get in touch!
