A long Annus Horribilis in a picture. For the last 14 months millions of decent human beings worldwide have battled between incredulity, rage, frustration, sense of impotence, depression and crude pain over the brutalization of millions of Palestinians by the state which the int'l community has allowed to behave like a spoiled brat for decades. ENOUGH. Member states must act now and stop the genocide. Then the occupation. And finally the apartheid. We must collectively restore respect for legality, our trust in common rules and systems, and our capacity to act as humans.

This was instantaneously my deepest fear as the news of the ICC arrest warrants came in. It is noticeable that as of January, at every move at the int'l justice level, there has been an immediate intensification of lethal violence against the Palestinians in Gaza. This also needs to be thorrougly investigated, Prosecutor @KarimKhanQC.
