Morons simply assume you can fill your whole team with mavericks without trade-offs. You can’t. You CANNOT field a team of Cole, Estevao, Quenda, Enzo and Barco and expect Barco to be anything other than a traffic cone OOP. Disastrous signing. Utter horrror.

This is the fundamental problem with the Strasbourg to Chelsea pathway. You may be important at Strasbourg but that does NOT mean it’ll be translatable at Chelsea. You will get fewer touches, have less time, and other better players will be the main guys.

Why is Chelsea seemingly incapable of signing/targeting superathletic zone-dominant players? Why do we always target twinks or fat bums? ”Murillo”, ”Barco”, ”Andrey”, etc. Nothing of value here at the highest level.

You could sign 3 transformative players that would raise our level. Would take a lot of money but it’d be ambitious. Winstewart won’t do that. They will sign about 5-6 scrubs for more money than they’re worth and only one of them will be serviceable at the highest level.
