The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day will take place on September 30th. This day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Please join GSC and wear orange on this day!

We are excited to share that the Gloucester Skating Club has been selected by @CTJumpstart to receive a grant from their Sport Relief Fund. The fund helps community sport organizations like ours continue to provide access to sport and play for Canadian kids. #SportReliefFund

At the Elizabeth Manley Winter Classic Competition organized by @GSCSkaters in #Orléans where I got the chance to hand out medals and meet @Lizmanley88, an inspiration for figure skaters! Félicitations à l’ensemble des participants(es),près de 650 et merci aux nombreux bénévoles.

Great to see @Lizmanley88 coming home to inspire @GSCSkaters this afternoon. In other related news, apparently skating Dads stepping onto the ice to take pics is frowned upon by ⛸ coaching staff... and is a great way to mortify teen skaters. I know this now. 😬
