Massive day today y'all. Today was my first day as a Sr Staff Systems Designer back at @PlayStation at @BendStudio and I could not be more hyped for it. There is so much awesome stuff in the pipe and I'm beyond excited for the road ahead.

@Naaackers It's def in use to some extent. My concern is when cheaters start using it. We all saw that MSI monitor with built in AI cheats, pay to win is going to hit the gaming scene harder than any of us can imagine and it won't even be coming from the game studios.

After many years I decided to pull the trigger on some new cans and I'm so glad I did. First time I've used Meze Audio and I'm beyond impressed. These headphones sound incredible and the craftsmanship is impeccable, 10/10 🎧🎛️🎚️

Idk how to describe it, but my ability to focus on work, finding a new game job has felt impossible since Dad passed away. But that beach trip over the past week with Mom helped me so much. I actually sat down and was able to do a few hours of environment work this morning

@JeseMartinez @Morphologis But I'm not gonna go spend 600 hours for an armor set so some corner crate camping murder hobo can jump me and take it in 2 seconds that took zero effort or skill 😂 might work for now with T0 item recovery but long term, not a chance.

I prefer it this way. It means it's worth the effort if it's really that much better. In some Korean MMO's, it would take you 5 months just to get a single piece of armor, and then another 6 months to enchant it to +12, which is very rare. It makes items feel more valuable in game. It also rewards those who play the game much more, which is the way it should be.

I can see why some are turned off by Star Citizen crafted items. Crafting right now is a bit too time intensive if you want stats to be above +0. We had 43 people in a coordinated mining op going for 5 hours, of 215 combined hours, and only managed enough for 7 suits of armor with a minimum of 500 quality materials. IMO they need to lower the quality minimum to start achieving higher than 0 stats, or increase the spawn rate of 500+ materials. How have your experiences been?

@Morphologis This change ruined mining as someone who normally mains that trade. Planets are covered by useless rocks that I scan and move on. When you're skipping 100 rocks in hopes to find one, the system is broken. Also, 0-1000 is overly complex. 0-100 max, 0-10 prolly enough tbh
