If you would like to help in your local community then we would love to hear from you. You don’t have to commit to attend our regular meetings as a Lion, but perhaps help out as a “Friend of Lions” or even just at Christmas time as a “Santa’s Helper” 2/3

He reminded us that in just three months we, with you, played our part in raising £110,000 for the Lions Ukraine appeal. He was also interested in our growing Friends of Lions group, people who want to help out from time to time but can't commit to meetings on a regular basis.

There are 71 clubs in our Lions District and we were pleased to welcome the District Governor Lion Kevin, to our meeting on Monday . He was able to listen to our forward planning for the Bonfire and Christmas (yeah!) 1/3

Our Summer Gala 2021 is on the horizon! We can't wait to see you all after the challenges of COVID-19. Here are the details: Glebelands Field, Ninelands Lane, Garforth, LS25 1NT Car Boot: 7am (set up), 8am-11am (shop!), £5/car, £10/van. Gala: 11am-5pm

As many of you will know we usually have a car boot before the main Gala starts and this year will be no different. Here is some important information: Sunday 11th July 2021 Car boot: Set up from 7am; Open 8am; Finishes 11am. £5 per car, £10 per van #garforthgala #carboot
