Y5 have recapped their learning of forces from Y3 and Y4. We had a sorting activity of the key vocabulary, discussed the difference between contact and non contact forces, then tested a variety of materials to see if they attracted or repelled. @GaskellScience @GaskellPrimary

Y5 have been focusing on the importance of the traffic light system on food packaging and have been discussing whether the food examples provided were healthy or not. We then considered how often we could eat these foods and why.@GaskellPshe @GaskellPrimary @GaskellScience

4C have been learning the names and functions of teeth. We used white tack to create teeth and then labeled them. 🦷 @GaskellPrimary @GaskellScience

We are investigating which drinks cause tooth decay in science this week. We will observe what happens to the egg over the next week. 🥚🦷🥤 @GaskellScience

4C have been creating songs for brushing our teeth. We took inspiration from the singing dentist and spoke about how important brushing our teeth is. @GaskellPrimary @GaskellPshe @GaskellScience
