There are two things I disagree with Jay-Z and J. Cole on regarding the attacks on Drake: they both spoke as if the attacks weren’t warranted and acted like Drake didn’t cause his own issues in the battle.
To ignore that Kendrick dealt with Drake’s antics for years quietly, then when he finally gets on Drake’s ass, y’all keep acting like Drake is a damsel in distress or a fragile innocent lamb—and that’s not the case.
Drake inserted Kendrick’s family unwarranted, and I think Jay-Z and J. Cole need to hold Drake accountable.

The Kendrick and Drake battle was fun and brought excitement back to a genre that was running on autopilot. The post battle smear campaigns and attempts by sore losers to rewrite history is the disgusting part.
