Stumbled upon a place that only sells “barn find” used John Deere tractors. The 8260r only has 700 hours! That 7810 is immaculate.

The only good thing about having 2 project tractors torn completely apart is when you're pissed off and annoyed at one of them you can work on the other one till you're mad at it... Never doing this to myself again...

By the time we moved out 8 years later we were on our 3rd washing machine, 2nd fridge and the dishwasher probably should have been changed but I limped it thru. And parts are so high nothing is worth fixing. Throw it away get new

@kperlik All the appliances are junk now. And it seems the more you spend the shorter it lasts... Reno'd this place and moved in 2008. Everything has been great. Crap water. Bosch dishwasher still looks and works mint

Bought my acreage in 2014. Bought the cheapest 1980’s looking washer I could find because the water was crappy and figured I’d just replace it every couple years. Didn’t have an ounce of trouble yet when I sold the place in ‘22. Left it with the place. Bought fancy new appliances for the new house. 3 years in and we’re washing machine shopping again 🤯

The one without the loader in that pic. It actually stretched the con rod bolts. Mom heard it changed sound and shut it down while running it on the 1482.. never hurt the crank. Rolled a new set of bearings and bolts in it and away she went.. they actually had the connecting rod torque spec wrong in the service manual is why it failed

Looks like we found something to haul home at least...
