Yesterday everyone had an opportunity to talk transit, squandered the opportunity, a few "gems" even took time to degrade transit. But one, @laine_johnson1 said what needed to be said, and what I think is a fairly succinct comment on the state of the Transit.

@Lg2022Lg5 @ArielTroster @ShawnMenard1 They are scheduled to be cleared though and not barricaded off for the winter. The problem you describe is a service issue and temporary. But your point is taken.

@GillianDaws @ArielTroster @ShawnMenard1 there are streets in Somerset ward that waited a week or more to be cleaned in several recent winters - not even the sidewalks were cleared - so yes, cars and pedestrians too were asked to either push through or take another route

This map says it all. Ottawa's finances are in shambles, we have a homeless crisis, public transit is falling apart - but majority of councillors outside core approve bailout for the richest businessmen (and campaign donors) in the city.

I brought my daughter to @ShopprsDrugMart for her scheduled pediatric vaccine, after booking appt for said vaccine, only to find out that it's not available. Like, they don't even have it. The rationale given to me was "the website says subject to availability ma'am". 🤯 #onpoli
