Since I became a published author 2 yrs ago, I've been contacting local radio stations trying to get on to talk books, but no dice. My husband just came home & informed me that our DOG is going to be interviewed on the radio tomorrow. (Related... Our kids: What is a radio? 😂)

I was talking to my non-writer but very supportive husband about how it is almost as likely to be struck by lightning as it is to be published, and he said “If you just keep running into every storm you see, it is bound to happen.” And I kind of love it. #amquerying #kidlit

For those who speak a language other than English, what do you say when someone sneezes? My family sneezes in multiples and I like to say “Bless you.” and “Gesundheit.” after each sneeze, but I thought it would be fun to say something in a different language for every sneeze.

His name is Fang. He had a nice roll around my office for a while and was given back to Mum. He looked happy enough and was intrigued to look around his new surroundings. I’ve already accepted his application to start in Year 7 in September.
