The Whitaker Chair Professorship will facilitate our mission of advancing science and technology between humans and machines for better health and sustainability. Uncas Whitaker was a prominent mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, lawyer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. At the age of 41, he founded AMP Inc which would become the world's largest manufacturer of electrical devices and connectors. Life isn’t allowing me a chance to grieve my dad as I should, I’m shattered between the sorrow for his loss, the agony that I didn’t see him since 6years, and the fear my family’s safety and rescue! The world is laying all its heaviness upon my chest. What a heart-breaking life!
