So, who is favourite for the Champions cup? UBB v Toulouse will be a game for the ages. Glasgow v Toulon will be titanic I think. Bath v Saints…big big clashes. Leinster v Sale might be a surprise if the wrong Leinster turn up. Favourites? Possibly UBB.

@Bart1696844 @DavidSteelMP @therugbycoach10 Obviously we’re not satisfied with 2 losses, but we just get on with it and try to do our best. What would be unacceptable would be losing 4 finals in a row, but since we haven’t lost any of our last 11 in all competitions, I’d say that’s fine.

Simply saying “the car is getting worse, therefore the technical director should be fired” is a gross simplification, there’s many more things at stake. Good thing teams don’t think like that.

@aston__martina I really don’t think there are dedicated people as far as strategy goes. Race and performance engineers yes (and obviously they play a role in strategy), but not strategy engineers themselves.

@aston__martina Agreed that there’s obviously no favouritism, but there’s only one strategy team working for both drivers. They’re not split like the mechanics or the race engineers.

The French squad coming to NZ is cannon fodder. Understand the Top 14 constraints, but it doesn't change what it is, a French development squad full of 2nd & 3rd stringers. They must be slaughtered on the scoreboard for the entertainment of the NZ rugby public.

Je vois énormément de commentaire sur l’injustice supposée de cet « access match ». Oui, c’est cruel pour Grenoble de perdre une 3e fois de suite. Mais ils ont eu 6 chances de monter. Claquer le modèle sur celui du Top14 est assez cohérent. L’intensité de ce match est sans égal.
