This is a question for both streamers and viewers! What do you prefer when it comes to ads? No matter how you slice this cake, ads are part of the streaming ecosystem of Twitch. Unless you are subbed to that channel or have Twitch turbo ads will happen. Let’s break it down👇 Pre-roll ads are ads that run immediately when clicking into someone’s stream. Some people do not like waiting through an ad when clicking into a new stream. This also affects people who raid out to a streamer. Streamers are given a few options instead of leaving pre-rolls on. You can have shorter or longer ads. However you choose shorter ads pre rolls won’t be disabled. So then you’re running more ads during one hour of stream. If a streamer has 3 minute ads this will fully disable pre-roll ads and then you get a full 63 minutes of uninterrupted stream. What do you think is best? 🧐
