@vivacissimx To me feast is just way more consistent in its quality throughout. Whereas Dance has extreme highs and extreme lows. Like you can go from one of the best chapters in the series to one of the worst in the flip of a page. To me it just depends on what you prefer

feast is clearly a better book than dance. but feast doesn’t grapple with being the first post-asos book in the way dance does. but dance has the plus of being the latest book. tbh my feastdance ranking changes often. but if feast is your Favorite asoiaf? ok you can’t be trusted

GRRM has written such a bad book that I have huge sympathy for Ryan Example : Rhaenyra does nothing in books for events of S2, cries all day For tv, you can't have your lead actress cry & do nothing for a season atleast Ryan made changes included her in small council scenes
