Our Office of Youth Manager Sarah Gray recently spoke to a Cincinnati City Council committee to discuss the office and how young people can apply. This years kickoff for the Youth Employment Program will be on 4/11 at Jerriel Baptist Church, 1018 Wesley Ave. from 10 AM - 2 PM.

We're working with @TalbertHouse to help teens gain successful employment with the CCMEP Program. Youth ages 14-24 who live in Hamilton County and have a barrier to self sufficiency can access a tailored plan with specific steps for success. Apply here: tinyurl.com/3drd7mw8

Last Thursday The Fatherhood Collaborative honored 7 outstanding fathers at our annual Esteemed 7 Event. We also honored former Fatherhood Director Calvin Williams, as well as former HCJFS Director Michael Patton for their contributions towards fathers in Hamilton County.

Children's Services By The Numbers: Our Children's Services team actively involved last year, working closely with 6,376 total families and 13,252 kids respectively to ensure their well-being . Over 3,000 children were also in our care as we worked towards long term solutions.

SNAP UPDATE: Starting on 10/1/26, SNAP benefits will prohibited from being used to purchase beverages that list sugar, corn syrup, high-fructose corn syrup, or similar caloric sweeteners as the primary ingredient—or as the second ingredient if the 1st is carbonated water.
