Hackney PSC were outside London CIV building with others earlier today to support London councillors & assembly members calling for the divestment of pooled pension funds from companies complicit in Israel’s genocide, apartheid and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.

The New Arab reports from the London Collective Investment Vehicle (CIV) building, where councillors from across London boroughs are calling for the divestment of pooled council pension funds from Israel. Campaign group Shake the CIV reported in October that £7bn of London’s £34bn pension fund is invested in companies complicit in Israel’s genocide.
