@NoobieMatt I can't even do 4x4 pull-ups. Would be cool if we could lift together one of these days, tho!

I managed to do 6 reps of 140 lbs on my final bench set today. I only managed 4 pull-ups x 4 sets. But it was my first time doing them since May 27th.

Tuesday was the annual Spring Retreat. Our residents chose paintball this year (a favorite)! They ran through the woods and aimed an occasional shot at the PD 🎨🔫😅 Not pictured - stopping by BBs Pizzaria afterwards 🍕

Happy to report that my grandma’s prayers are now 3-0 against the USMLE - I’m grateful for everyone that’s provided support and encouragement for each exam along the way!

Medicine is always changing 😅. As soon as I learned RSI pre-treatment indications for atropine, fentanyl, and lidocaine, they stopped doing it. We no longer "pre-treat", instead we do pre-intubation optimization.

& with the first pick of the 2023 NRMP Draft, we select Mayo Clinic. Writing on this paper really felt like signing an NFL contract on draft day. The culmination of all of the hard work just felt so nice in this moment.
