In the past few days I watched four films. Three of them were stunning in their ineptitude. Very big stars, big budgets, and big releases. Unacceptable scripts, phoned-in performances, careless directing, average production values. The business used to dismiss projects that had “Straight to DVD” standards. Now it’s made it the “norm.” Well, it’s still unacceptable.
