Between being one of if not the best drafting team in the league, and acquiring players like Cutter, Kreider, Trouba, and Carlson.
I’d say this is a well deserved extension.
In spite of what I’d call some flubbed trades, and sub optimal asset management mix in like a fine seasoning. 🤣

Not enough likes and views on this. I went to the game and this is exactly how it played out. Leo was dominant and Carlson (the other one) had his way offensively due to Beckett’s disrupting play. @PatrickCPresent nails it here.

I get it. You don’t like Coach Q and his history. But journalists should remain as unbiased as they can. Especially when they are profiting from coverage.
Bad stretch. But the jump on Q because of your hatred for him in your coverage is just incencere.
Credit him for us watching a game on April 7th that matters.

I am of the opinion that Radko won’t be back next season. Radko or Trouba. The addition of Carlson really muddies up the right side with Moore and Luneau in the wings. I don’t think that his C is in jeopardy if he remains on the team. I also think it should go to someone that will grow with it. One of the kids. But I don’t get a vote.

@_pruett_ @ZachCav Just using the old man memory (we used to do this before the internet) I seem to remember Tkachuk having a similar game. Not many of the tough guys are captains. But I think it’s Zdeno Chara after he destroyed Max Pacioretty. That’s the closest specific example that I can recall.

@ZachCav @HardcoreLucha When is the last time a captain was in this position? Injuring an opposing team’s superstar and getting suspended for it? This is a genuine question I’m curious to see how the last captain that did something like this handled it.
