The library had the honor of supporting the African-American History class in the library & #Maker Lab! Students chose, researched, & made an artistic historical marker in honor of a figure/component in Afro-Puerto Rican culture! @FCPSHayfieldSS @FcpsSocial @FCPSEquity @FCPS_LIS

The 6th Annual FrankenToys is in the books! Students' creativity, problem solving, and often gruesome creations were on full display. We can't wait for the next one! #Maker @FCPS_LIS @FCPSHayfieldSS #SchoolLibrary

It's been a busy week in the library! English 10 starting guided-inquiry research projects, MS AVID setting goals, Algebra 1 building community in the Maker Lab, dinosaur hunting for Dino-vember, and so much more. We ❤️ supporting our Hawks! @FCPSHayfieldSS @FCPS_LIS

Storytime with A Spoonful of Frogs was a blast!

Active Physics visited the Library Maker Lab this week to build 3D models! First, faces to get us started, and then atoms! Lots of great thinking about modeling and conductors vs insulators. We can't wait to have them back again soon! @FCPSHayfieldSS @Annmporter @jnstatz #Maker
