I am getting some big tenure news today or tomorrow. it won’t be official until February & the review process hasn’t started yet but the external review letters are in & I get to see redacted versions. hopefully Shakespeare scholars across the country feel I deserve to stay.

Indigenous people were rounded up and sent to reservations, Black ppl were rounded up and sent to plantations, Japanese ppl were rounded up & sent to internment camps, Black ppl during Jim Crow were rounded up for crimes like loitering & sent to prison
