The Best Part of my Day: Voting with the rockets! 🚀 We “campaigned” by discussing the pros & cons of apples vs. pumpkins. We used name tags for ID, cast our ballots privately, tallied the results and watched the polls. . . It’s apples! 🍎🍏🍎🍏@PTAHMES @HMprincipal

Congratulations to @HollinMeadows ES 6th grade on their promotion. Recently the 6th graders had their last read a loud in the library ☹. We read “What I Am” by Divya Srinivasan. After the reading/discussion, 6th students independently responded to the What I am statements

These responses were then collectively used to create a free verse that I read during promotion.
