The Memecoin Market Is Stronger Than People Think
People act like we're supposed to see a new billion-dollar memecoin every other week, and if that doesn't happen, the space is somehow failing. What they fail to realize is that very few memecoins have ever reached a billion-dollar market cap, and most of the ones that did got there during periods of extreme euphoria and favorable conditions across broader markets.
That said, the fact that we're seeing memecoins regularly push into nine-figure valuations is astonishing, especially when crypto as a whole has been lagging behind most major asset classes. On top of that, memecoins are more diluted than ever, with everyone being psyoped into serially launching short-term farms and overtrading to line the pockets of the most successful platforms in the space.
You can view this glass as half full or half empty. Personally, I see it as half full.
