There isn’t a normal dad on earth that would trade their kids to be you.

$500k Polymarket chain on my neck, no wife or kids, and just turned 44. Does life get any better than this?!

@PunkyCovfefe It’s inflation resistant. There will only be 21 million bitcoin.

‼️Update on the recent retirement pivot: I’ll be moving to a semi-retired, 6-month contract.
The site director asked me to lead a project I pitched before I left, and they made an offer that was too efficient to turn down. 🤷♀️
The Deal:
• Avg 20 hrs/week (fully flexible/asynchronous)
• Time off whenever I want
• Full-time salary (no prorating) 💵
• A bonus 💰
• Full profit-sharing
• Full 401(k) match
• Total autonomy over labs vs. home time 💻
It’s essentially a 6-month padding the net worth before I go back to full-time retirement.
The Dilemma:
I wasn’t planning on this extra liquidity this year. Since we’re already debt-free (outside the mortgage), husband is still working full-time, I’m currently debating how to deploy it.
Do I:
1. Max the taxable brokerage account for more 'bridge' funds?
2. Aggressively knock down the mortgage principal (2.7%)?
3. Stack it in HYSA/Money Markets while waiting for the next market dip?
4. Cram as much as I can in Roth 401k until I hit the $80,500 limit?
Would love to hear how you’d deploy this 'unexpected' capital. Let me know what you think. 🤔

HR emailed me an official job offer and said they are open to changes. They’re really getting serious about bringing me back.

I’m embarrassed to say this, but I only recently became aware of something that will likely be one of the biggest regrets of my career.
Not long ago, I hired an assistant. And for the first time, it forced me to truly see how many hours a week I had been losing.
I knew I was busy, but I didn’t realize how much daily distraction had been quietly destroying my productivity.
Things like:
• scheduling a meeting
• rescheduling or canceling a meeting
• signing up for industry conferences
• back and forth with vendors
• insurance questions
• booking flights and hotels
• coordinating calendars
• tracking down documents
• handling routine emails
• chasing signatures
• dealing with logistics that feel small but never stop
The other day, I started actually tracking how many of these things come up each day - most of them unscheduled, “quick.”
I finally saw how much time they were really costing me. The number was embarrassing.
It hit me how many hours I’ve spent over the years on things that had absolutely nothing to do with growing my business, and how much more I could have accomplished if I hadn’t lost hundreds and hundreds of hours this way.
More deals.More growth.More momentum.
What hurts most is that I always told myself hiring help would be more trouble than it was worth. That it would be a hassle. That training someone would slow me down. That it would be hard to trust someone else.
I was wrong. So wrong.
This single change is now giving me months of additional time every year.
I realized it at 45.
Hopefully someone reading this realizes it much sooner.

This is a sincere and respectful question for the Bitcoin community.
I don’t fully understand the asset class, but I genuinely root for it.
If it goes up, I’m happy for you. And if it crashes, it hurts all of us, so I’m not rooting against it.
That said, I have a real question:
Bitcoin seems to go completely against the investment principles of some of the greatest minds in investing - people like Charlie Munger and Howard Marks, who are almost universally respected and have earned their reputations over decades.
A bet on bitcoin is a bet against basically everything they believe in.
Again, this is not a judgmental post - I’m genuinely curious and open to hearing your thoughts on why "this time is different" 🙏

🔥🚨BREAKING: Hollywood actor Danny DeVito has left his fans disturbed after revealing to Variety Magazine that he had so much ‘lust’ for Catwoman actress Michelle Pfeiffer that he wanted everyone else to vanish so he could have her to himself.’
DeVito: “If I knew she was gonna be there in the show that day, I got all flustered, it was very difficult to keep my MHMM”
“I lusted after her...I wanted everyone else to disappear.”
DeVito was then asked if he thinks she was nervous working with him or if she wanted him to stop and DeVito simply replied “I kinda feel she liked it.”
