I just got a purchase order to source some medical equipment from China. The quoted price for the wheelchairs is $70. I contacted a few factories on Alibaba, and they can deliver them to the Tianjin port for $30. From what I know, wheelchairs in the US usually sell for over $300.

@NKromchenk4068 Damn insurance company would only take my 10.000 bucks and then refuse bill. In China they only need to pay $60 a year for insurance, covering 70% of their bills, and never refuse coverage

US usurer medical insurance system—Trump wants to make every American as successful as his Taj Mahal casinos. Consequences for not paying for unaffordable scamming healthcare that is a basic human right, and is affordable in every other democratic country aren’t that bad: In rare cases, providers or collection agencies may sue you. If they win a judgment, this can lead to wage garnishment, bank levies, or property liens. While hospitals cannot deny emergency treatment due to an unpaid bill, doctors and private clinics may restrict scheduling for non-urgent or elective care until the outstanding balance is resolved.

@AnubhaviSky India does not develop its own drugs. pharmaceutical companies conduct extensive human trials in India, and the government uses this in exchange for the right to produce generic drugs.

India has become widely recognized for offering highly affordable and fast healthcare services compared to many other countries. In one case, a foreign patient named Victoria discovered that a required medication cost nearly $1,000 in her home country, and her insurance did not cover it. However, she was able to source the same medicine from India for around $10, with additional shipping costs of about $15, making the total expense significantly lower. In another experience, a European traveler, Lia, shared that medical appointments in several countries often involve long waiting times, sometimes stretching over days. In contrast, while in India, she was able to complete a blood test without delay, and the report was delivered digitally within 24 hours. These experiences highlight how India’s healthcare system is often seen as both cost-effective and efficient, especially in terms of accessibility and turnaround time.

@provotodemocra1 @ElCuerv0Nica Communism has a superior system of production. Capitalism always produces too much and causes economic crises. The view that communism only distributes without producing is wrong. The collapse of the Soviet Union was mainly because its bureaucracy deviated from communism.

So all of you guys who want socialism — why don’t you just get a job? Most companies give health insurance (free/subsidized for you + family), pay for school in hot fields, cover relocation + housing help, and match retirement so you actually build wealth. Food and everything else? Handled with a paycheck after 8 honest hours. Stock options: You can opt in or out of taking money out of your paycheck every week for stock. Look at Elon's employees. They did a very good this week! Retirement/wealth building: ...401(k) matching so you build real wealth instead of depending on government checks. And you get paid vacation, holidays, and sick days. All while keeping more of your money instead of it going to bureaucrats who deliver nothing. What does socialism promise that it never delivers? Free healthcare, You are going to get the bare minimum care necessary for you to survive. And not even that, I mean look at Canada. They're already euthanizing people instead of giving them medical care. Now I have to admit with the EBT you do eat well. Social security? Is that really enough to live on? Socialism promises utopia and delivers shortages. But if you really want to end up with a luxury lifestyle a job is going to help you a lot more than the government is!

@tishenshu @Bombard_The_HQ Deng's economic policies forced peasants to leave their land and instead be tied to factory chairs, thus becoming exploited. During this period, public assets were privatized, bureaucrats and landlords accumulated substantial wealth, treating the people as their property.

@ApexSeeker_ At least in Japan, due to bureaucracy and rigid class divisions, it's difficult for ordinary people to accumulate wealth. Those who possess wealth also wield the power to distribute it. This is how politicians operate.

@bakemocho Thanks to the "菜篮子" program, vegetables are diverse and affordable in most regions—with the exception of high-altitude areas like Tibet, where prices are higher due to steep transportation costs.
