@SickosCommittee Nebraska fan, and I brought stats. More bushels per person. Then add in the fact that this is primarily from the eastern third of the state. We don't even need to use the entirety of our state to grow corn, that's how good we are. We also have better beef. Suck on that. #GBMFR

@CariBeth25 No. I've never fully recovered. Pain is still present, but have found medications that help. Botox is also regular for pain managament.

Purdue University has eliminated its Department of Agricultural Education and Communication.
In a statement to alumni, @PurdueAg said the move was made because of a new Indiana State law.

Is it fair to say some of these operations are going too far? REP. MARY MILLER: If you break the laws and resist arrest, it's not going to be pretty. This is what happens. hey, so a lot of the farmers I'm talking to are beating themselves up for what they should have done these past few weeks
first off, it's easy to judge what should have taken place when you have the benefit of hindsight, so stop with the "I'm so stupid/how did I not see this coming" stuff
second, now's the time to recalibrate and figure out what it is you that first *have* to be doing, your non-negotiables (cash flow, quality, logistics) and then think about what it is that you *want* to be doing when the opportunities present themselves, whether that be in the market or on your operation as a whole
Mostly, remember to give yourself a little grace but don't take this as an opportunity to abandon all hope, start making plans.

Remember, there was video of January 6, too. Lots and lots of video. Way more than of this. They actually *did* assault and kill cops. But they convinced half the country that they didn’t see what they saw—or that it wasn’t that bad.

Many farm related suicides in 2026.
I was in a conversation recently where I was told “one of those farmer had tried multiple times before”.
Two points to ponder:
1. That person suffered for a long time in a rural area with some, but strained resources.
2, I could clearly hear the stigma of it being a suicide in the discussion.
We can change that.

Congressional office staffers do a variable job of explaining their bosses positions. 4 calls this morning and I got 1 really great one that listened and discussed, one lecture on how a bicameral legislature works and 2 generic “I’ll take your comments down”.
