DeFi removes the trust layer in TradFi and provides better products and accessibility
Utilizing codes on blockchain minimizes human error
DeFi may not completely replace TradFi in the short term, but there will be more adoption and integration between them
2/ Sounds good to have more control but this poses a question – can these artists do the business without them?
They will have to handle all the marketing, networking, music production etc etc
There will prob be some big changes in the music industry in the upcoming years
1/ Music NFT allows artists to take back the control from record labels or management companies
Some artists will choose to quit these third parties and make music on their own
Governments and companies are all talking about “ESG”
I guess it's something about the environment? not quite sure what this is all about
But if this is really a thing, post-merge Ethereum will be more adopted than Bitcoin, right?
4/ These two cognitive biases prevail in this social media era and there are many more that may not be that obvious
We should be aware of our human faults in thinking and try to look at things from different angles when making any decisions
3/ Echo chamber effect
We may find that our opinions keep echoing back to us in a harmonious environment (CT?)
On and on when it goes, our beliefs are reinforced and tunnel vision is developed
2/ But as NFT rentals largely benefit from ERC4907, a new token standard that automates the renting process, membership NFT will do too because they are pretty much the same in terms of the working
This might ease some operational challenges for membership NFT
1/ Really like the idea of membership NFT, especially for streaming platforms
We gain access to premium services by holding the NFT and we can trade them on the market
There may be some operational considerations for these platforms
GameFi is revolutionary
I believe it will be the future of gaming
But so far these games seem to be short-lived, so a sustainable tokenomics design will be key and this will not be easy to figure out
So looking forward to some creative solutions in the future
Think about how many people in the world can’t even enjoy basic financial services because they can’t access banks
The great thing about crypto is that no matter where you are, you can create a wallet to send and receive money as long as you are connected to the internet
The hacking incident of Curve Finance reminds us of how vulnerable traditional DNS servers could be to hacking
We rely on intermediaries like ICANN to store our DNS data in centralized databases that are prone to attacks
3/ Despite the volatility of the crypto market, digital assets may work well as diversifiers with their low correlations with traditional markets in the long term too
1/ Blackrock is launching a private #Bitcoin trust to its institutional clients
As institutional adoption of #Bitcoin and digital assets increases, I am thinking about what role they would be playing in a portfolio
Most ideally, there will be a single metaverse where different parties collaborate to build up a whole ecosystem, perhaps gonna be like the one in Ready Player One
And ultimately a blockchain-based economy will be the core of this ecosystem
NFT ticketing can prevent fake tickets and ticket scalping
It's more secure, and easier to verify an NFT ticket than a physical one as data can be confirmed on chain
The number of times that an NFT ticket can be resold can be limited upon minting
