Yesterday’s fuel price HIKE is the BIGGEST in Kenyan history. KSh 40 per litre for diesel is the largest jump ever seen in a single pricing cycle. Remember, the price of fuel is the engine that deives the economy, now the price of everything in Kenya will shoot automatically. This is the easiest way to explain how William Ruto is the WORST president in the history of Kenya. This man has sunk this country beyond its knees, he has literally collapsed the economy!

@KenyanSays Selling goods online is much profitable with minimal operating cost.

@djeduhmaks I think the best solution is to build Metro systems serving the outcasts of Nairobi. They can adjust the running time according to flow of passengers and alsp during public holidays or weekends.

I have a theory for Thika road people.
The government has been trying to solve the wrong problem with this traffic issue.
It looks like a traffic problem but it's entirely a dependancy problem. Kibaki asked himself, what do we do? The then engineers proposed, we widen the road, create more lanes and space and a viaduct overpass.
well, it worked for sometime, traffic eased, it felt like a good progress.
After several years, more people started driving. The trips that didn't exist before suddenly starts happening and public transport stays the same. Year in, year out, slowly we got right back to where we started. I wouldn't call it failure, the system responded just exactly how it was designed to because Kibaki's engineers asked "How do we move cars?" instead of asking "how do we move more people "
Nairobi needs a mass public transportation system both BRT's, Trams and Railway transport with govt incentives to reduce fare prices that will make someone with a car think twice about driving to work within the city.

The government should do something about this 😭

Political violence and thuggery have no place in our society. We strongly condemn these crimes and will deal decisively with the perpetrators, irrespective of their political affiliation.
I call on all political players across the divide to exercise tolerance, denounce violence, and embrace issue-based politics that will engage our youth positively and contribute to the development and prosperity of our nation.
As our security agencies intensify efforts to bring those responsible to book, we call on the Judiciary to treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and to set a firm precedent that will deter all those who seek to engage in such acts, now and in the future.
This morning, I graced the Cherangany Unity Cup, Sinyerere Ward finals at Kesegon, Trans-Nzoia County. The tournament, sponsored by the OKM Foundation and local leaders, is aimed at nurturing grassroots talent and advocating for positive behavior among the youth.
I was accompanied by Deputy Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli, MPs Kakai Bisau (Kiminini), Robert Pukose (Endebess) and Lilian Siyoi (Trans-Nzoia County), among other leaders.

@MutembeiTV I agree with Sudi 💯. Because how comes we don’t even know the other family 🤔. Leave the president alone. Go ask Obama what keeps him busy this days. He left the political world, leave the president alone Mr Uhuru leave William Ruto our president alone! Leave him we are tired!

Ruto claimed that part of the State House, Nairobi, lies on riparian land along the Kisichwa River, will be demolished after he got a notice.
A claim meant to calm anger over Gikomba demolitions.
So I checked the maps carefully.
The Kisichwa River runs west of State House, not through it.
Between the river and the State House, there is a clear buffer:
Nairobi Arboretum
St George's Primary and Secondary Schools
Roads and open space
Multiple apartment blocks
In fact, the closest developments to the river are residential buildings sitting right along its banks.
So what exactly is being demolished? Or another lie? And why haven't they gotten notices too?
And here’s the problem and hypocrisy:
There are over 30 buildings still standing on both sides of the river on riparian land.
No demolitions. No urgency. No national statements.
But in Gikomba, demolitions are immediate, justified using the same “riparian” argument.
So let’s be honest:
If this is truly about riparian law,
Why does enforcement start with traders in Gikomba?
And not with permanent structures visibly sitting on the Kisichwa River?
And more importantly:
Which exact part of the State House is on riparian land?
Because, from publicly available maps, that claim is not obvious.
