As I’ve explained many times, it’s to emphasise that Marvel isn’t the powerhouse it once was. And that Dune Part 3 indeed may be tough competition for Doomsday. The op says Dune will be destroyed, and while I’m sure Doomsday will come out on top, I doubt it’ll be a monumental victory, especially compared to the previous Avengers films.
