@IceBridget Welp, it's a bit intuitive process, but this pic helps me draw curls layering each other Plus ater I color the whole image (flats+shadows+lights+simple render) I merge all layers and add few curls with the pen brush (just copy the color and add few lines) So, it works mostly

@SeterMD Thank you seter. 🫂 I really appreciate your input, I feel a big pressure to do cool animated stuff, so any artwork, sketches or DnD comics only really exist on my hardrive and I feel bad about it lately. I'm doing so much creative work but posting so little of it out of fear.

@IceBridget If you built your audience on 1 particular content, sure that's what would be more pushed and anything else less, BUT, not so easy to raise new acc these days, if that's the goal, so better grow this one. If it's not work and brand related and purely hobby stuff, side acc it is.

Since my account is pretty much just for league of legends animations nowadays, should I make a new account for posting other fan art or OC stuff or, should I stay here? I don't want to post things that only I find interesting at risk of scaring anyone away.

@LumomoT Some people use hard disk copies of flash (CS6 or even Macromedia flash) before it went subscription based. If you are learning 3D I would stick to 3D software, try not to take everything on in one go and focus on what you are passionate about in the moment 👍

@IceBridget Is flash a free software? Uni only teach adobe but when I was finding tips on yt a lot of people post about why thyr breaking up with it

@LumomoT Software really boils down to "what are YOU most drawn to" I still use Flash for quick animation as there's nothing more comfortable for me, After effects gave me real learning curves, but if you stick to little bite size tutorials to make your pieces, it becomes less scary!

@LumomoT In terms of technical skills: learning to digitally paint in the style of whatever splash art you are trying to animate helps a tone, as you will be filling in Backgrounds and other parts that the viewer doesn't normally see!

@leossc202582614 ⭐ Great suggestion, but most portfolios I've seen don't tend to say the production time. Animation takes a long time generally, and schedules in projects vary. Some are crunches (2-4 days), some take months, some get interrupted by sickness or delays in other pipelines etc.
