If you look back to last year, MWC had 3 future Pac-12 members get into the tournament Utah St, San Deigo St, and Colorado St. With Gonzaga, that makes 4. Big East had 5 teams.

@IcyPerfected @Tate34257353 @mid_madness That I would agree with for the most part, but I don’t necessarily think the Pac 12 will have the same amount of teams as the Big East. The Big East had a down year, but I’d think they get 3-5 teams in the NCAA Tournament most years moving forward.

Historically the Big East is a much better league, but I think the new Pac-12 will consistently get around the same amount of teams in as the Big East.

@Sports_Talker1 @mid_madness It's going to be blatantly obvious that something isn't right if they do include the new Pac 12... I know some of the other accounts doing the same thing don't include Gonzaga OR the MWC... At that point, you better not include the new Pac 12...

@slipperstillfit I am not ruling him out. But he offers a similar skill set to Huff, who is the better player. He would be a nice backup piece but I am guessing he wants a bigger role then Gonzaga can offer him.

Not a huge surprise here, Smith is an awesome dude and a great leader who has a chance to make good money and play a big role at hundreds of other schools in the country for his final season
