#Islamabadtalks On the paper it appears talks have failed. The stakes were too high for both to agree at the very first meet. There could be a another round of talks. Talks should go on but US Pres needs to keep his mouth shut when talks are in progress.

Imagine this is news - That Prime Minister Narendra Modi and LOP Rahul Gandhi spoke to each other. This is no indicator of healthy democracy, this is poverty of democracy, this shows how little democratic ethos is left in the democratic system. They should be talking to each other routinely despite their political differences, but here it is, we don’t talk and we are a ‘proud’ democracy .
