India should never ever buy F-35s. And it must reduce its arms dependence on the US. In fact, India must use its media to propogate how easy F-16s were to be shot down during Sindoor and Balakot, even by a MIG-21. The propaganda must be done so much that for the next three generations, Indians must look down on American arms. This must be the lesson for the US arms lobby rewarding Pakistan using their state, and for Trump announcing the ceasefire before India like its his achievement. Just think about this, it is the US that has approached India on behalf of Pakistan for a ceasefire. India's objective was already achieved on May 7th with the intensive strikes against terrorists killing 70+ and flattening many of their pads. That's the message India wanted to give. And delivered. It is due to Pakistan's escalation that India had to retaliate for two more days. Everyday India gave an off-ramp for Pak which it didn't take. But once India struck their bases hard and destroyed air defences, Pakistan has gone crying to the US to help it stop India. This must have been done by Pakistan prostituting itself again in US interests for sure, by leaving the bed of China for time being. And the US steps in, asks India to accept Pak's ceasefire which anyway India wants. And once we agree, it acts like it is the peace broker. Just imgine if there was just 1 hour for PM Modi to appear on TV and announce the ceasefire himself. Telling us how badly Pak has been hit, and how India doesn't want this to spiral out, affecting us in the long term. And how the main objectives of imposing serious costs on Pakistan and teaching them a lesson was met. But the US, especially Trump, did not give the opportunity at all. This is nothing but shameless, courtesyless behavior. This is a direct snub to India. And I think India must take actions to ensure the US arms lobby that props up Pak pays. In fact, I really feel India must do just one more strike on Pak for yesterday's ceasefire violations and throw an egg on Trump's face while declaring ceasefire ourselves after the strike.

When the Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi envisioned digitally connecting every Anganwadi and beneficiary, it wasn’t just a call for technological innovation—it was a call to reimagine service delivery for the most vulnerable. That vision became the foundation of the Poshan Tracker. What began in 2019 as a bold idea matured into a nationwide digital platform under the leadership of Secretary Indevar Pandey, transforming how nutrition services are monitored and delivered at the grassroots. Today, as the Poshan Tracker receives national recognition, it stands as a testament to what strategic foresight, administrative will, and collaborative partnerships can achieve. Gratitude to Team BMGF for their partnership, and to former Additional Secretary Aditi Das Raut, whose belief in the idea and commitment to its execution were instrumental in scaling it across the country. Above all, we remain deeply thankful to the Prime Minister for championing a governance model that empowers Anganwadi workers, uplifts mothers, and ensures no child is left behind.

Delighted to share that an initiative conceived and brought to digital life as WCD Minister, has been honoured with the National Award for e-Governance 2024 (GOLD) at the 27th National Conference on e-Governance. Since its inception in March 2021, in response to PM @NarendraModi's clarion call for a SuPoshit Bharat, the Poshan Tracker has emerged as the largest nutrition surveillance system in the world, enabling real-time tracking of health-related Govt schemes and driving transparency & efficiency at the grassroot level. It has profoundly improved maternal and child health across the nation. Congratulations to TEAM @MinistryWCD for this well-deserved recognition, and kudos to everyone who has been part of this transformative journey.

The Lancet, an esteemed peer-reviewed journal has featured an insightful article on India’s Poshan Tracker - an innovative, indigenous technological tool developed to be the largest mobile-based nutrition surveillance system in the world. thelancet.com/journals/lanse… Poshan Tracker is reshaping nutrition programs by enabling real-time monitoring, thereby enhancing decision-making and bolstering accountability. The Lancet’s article highlights Poshan Tracker’s instrumental role in advancing a data-driven revolution in nutrition service delivery: 🏡 Anganwadi Centres operational for more than 15 days/month: Skyrocketed from 35% in July 2022 to 89% in Sep 2023. 👩‍👧‍👦 Beneficiaries receiving supplementary food: Jumped from 4.1 million to 20.9 million in the same period. 🚸Children’s growth monitoring at AWCs: Increased from 40.1 million to 83.55 million, covering 94% of registered children. Signed a historic MoU today between the @MinistryWCD and the @moayush, with the goal of enhancing the nutrition of 94,000 adolescent girls in Utkarsh districts. This visionary initiative, championed by PM @narendramodi ji, bridges traditional and modern medicine. The noteworthy collaboration between ICMR and Ayush marks a crucial step in advancing global healthcare. Spanning 10,000 Anganwadi Centres across five districts, the project fosters collaborative efforts led by district officials, CDPOs and Anganwadi Workers. This partnership aligns with Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0, addressing malnutrition through a comprehensive, multi-sectoral approach. The integration of Ayush systems, supported by @ICMRDELHI evidence, provides a cost-effective solution to tackle anaemia, rendering it a globally significant initiative. Together, we strive for a healthier future.
