While we celebrate the beautiful Sri Rama of Vaduvur Temple, how many of us know that Sri Lakshmana next to him is not of Early Chola but a recently cast Murti - cast a few decades ago? That is to say in many of our temples the Murtis are only poor replacements - after originals have been stolen by thieves and displayed in unethical Museums like the Smithsonian @mygovindia @tnhrcedept
