On April 14, Izola hosted a guided study visit along the footpath from Belvedere to Bele Skale beach in Landscape park Strunjan, where we showcased a pilot investment within the INHERIT project, which represents good practice in protecting natural heritage.

The first day of spring and World Forest Day was celebrated by planting of 2780 seedlings of tree species in Zagreb's Maksimir Park, Croatia. The Croatian Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency co-financed the purchase of seedlings.

🚴🏼‍♂️ EVEN MORE BIODIVERSITY, COMFORT AND FRESHNESS FOR CYCLISTS The cycle path between Clermont l'Hérault and the shores of Lake Salagou was completed in the fall of 2020, in order to support the sport in nature and soft mobility.

The 14th March was the World Day of Action for Rivers, on this occasion the actions are carried out by "The Sentinelles de Rivières" association, winner of the first edition of the Participatory Budget.

The participation of citizens in the direct realization of the projects of the Department of Hérault is unprecedented. With the participatory budget, the Department empowers residents to act on public policies and supports their ability to contribute to the common good.

🇫🇷 INHERIT project team participation at the Regional workshop Littoral Plan 21 INHERIT bottom-up approach and management mechanisms were presented during the work sessions and the importance to integrate all the stakeholders in decision making.

Three loggerhead sea turtles were admitted to the Sea Turtle Rescue Centre in Lošinj, Croatia. They were named Bura, Veli and Saturn.

For the last half a century, the Paris International Agricultural Show has been the annual meeting place for all the key players of the agricultural world. Such important event was a possibility to present the INHERIT project, talk to the participants about its partnership.
