After a day of dealing with my mother's cremation and a 7 hour drive back to Connecticut my cat threw up and had diarrhea in front of us. Been watching her closely and she's doing fine a few hours later but for a good while there I was losing my mind. I can't take anything else.

Pre-Roe, I was 8 yrs old. I came home from school to find my Mom lying in a puddle of blood. She was weak & asked me to call a neighbor. She was miscarrying, but the embryo would not abort. For 48 hours, she bled while doctors transfused blood, waiting. Abortions were illegal.

my 5 year old nephew mixed up ‘scientists’ and ‘artists’ today so i told him that they’re actually very similar in that both of them can go to school, both do a lot of experimentation, and our current government won’t give them any support or funding

@aniistoll It's insane how the littlest things can set off a wave. Or you think you're ok and a few minutes later it's all crashing on you. Take time with yourself. For me, going slow and crying/journaling helps when a wave hits. Thinking of you 💜💜
