The Navy pays all her personnel directly to their account... Salaries, allowances etc. A level of transparency is maintained because they fill the paper emolument forms and the online one every year. It helps to weed out ghost personnel, late personnel, etc. In the army, the opposite happens. Especially in the war areas. The RCA is paid to the unit and they in turn "pay" it to the personnel. There are no checks and database updates from the warfront. Who do you think pockets the money from the dead soldiers? Well... They have houses in Maitama, Ikoyi and GRA PH.
