@adelheidx333 Fair point but the sprites in Tsukihime have much more fluidity and motion than your average VN. I don’t know much about the dev process at TM but maybe efficiency isn’t their focus lol. Nasu is legendarily slow at getting things out (Mahoyo 2, Red Garden, OG Tsukihime 2, etc.)

Kanzaki and Ren are parallels in their inability to let go of their loved one and thus resorting to the Rider war to give them a second chance at life in a manner they wouldn’t approve. From Denji choosing to let go of the Chainsaw for Asa’s sake to their hug (which is a pretty important narrative tool in CSM) being laden with meaning:

@Morningbird_Asa It's open-ended. I'd believe either option, but what made me think that they might never be a thing is the scene in which he watches from a distance. You can see how Asa is now living a normal high school life while Denji is still going around hunting devils. So who knows?

I mean as pessimistic as I am about the ending I don't get how people took this as Asa and Denji never meeting again. What I understood from this is that they will naturally gravitate towards each other because memories may be gone but feelings are not forgotten.

Prior to that he still had limits as seen by his caring side towards Baku and Nem. He critiqued The Lady for playing it+
