Elon has made X more boring than it used to be. I enjoyed X better when I didn't have to constantly read long epistle every second of the day. It was more fun then than it is now. Do you agree or disagree 🤔?

8 years ago, I launched MelonyPine in Calabar as a CRK teacher earning N30,000. I trusted God for an idea and the idea was to sell fruits. I went into Pinterest and YouTube and spent days and nights researching because there was no blueprint in that little City at the time. I bought fruits and a few other things and did several experiments while giving them to people to taste and give me feedback. On 20th May 2018, I cut apples, watermelon, pineapple, cucumber etc and put in bowls for N300(round bowl in picture) and N500(square bowl in picture) and took them to my home church in my blue cooler… mounted my red umbrella and wore my apron and began to sell after service. I got support. One of my Pastors bought both bowls for N50,000 instead of N800 and I took part of that money to register MelonyPine on CAC as well as buy more items for more research and experiments. I juggled my job alongside this business. I didn’t have the full picture but now it is clear that it was a step in the right direction of what would manifest as Premium MelonyPine 8 years later. You have that idea? Wake up and act on it now. There’s more inside of you that would only materialize when you take the first step, just like I did in 2018. My son and I travelled from Canada to Nigeria about a week ago As we were praying as a family to leave the house and catch our flight, my husband pulled me close and started praying He said “Lord, as I won’t be going on this trip with my wife and my son, please send your Angel to be with them” We said Amen. As we sat down at the airport lounge in the first layover waiting for our next flight, an elderly white man came and sat beside us. Immediately my son started smiling at Him. This man told me to rest that He was here. He started playing with my son and running around the airport with him and I just sat down resting. When it was time to go I said thank you and we left When I got off that flight to enter the next connecting flight, this man was still on the next one with us He Carried my hand luggage all around the airport. This bad was really heavy He kept my boy super entertained because my son was obsessed with His pointy nose At some point he went and got food and snacks and fruit. He carried my boy all around. And the long layover time passed like it was nothing He was like our bodyguard, carry one help and nanny all in one. Before we boarded the last plane heading to Africa, He told us He was leaving and heading back to Europe. Before he left he looked at me and said “do you know my name?” I said “no sir” He said “my name is William” That’s my son’s name. All the while I never knew. I was so shocked I’m not sure exactly how we stumbled on a man who stood beside me almost my entire trip, helping me so much and making my journey a lot easier All I know is that my husband asked God to send us an Angel and God did. As you start this new week, remember that God answers prayer. In the big and small aspects of life, involve God The supernatural is real and very tangible for those who engage it God is still healing people God is still miraculously providing God is still sending Angels on assignment God is still answering prayers Blessings!

From my BSc to my MSc, my father’s presence was both physical and deeply influential in every important milestone of my academic journey. He was the one who planted the seed of my PhD journey in me. He made me see that I was capable of more than I thought. Today, I am less than two years away from completing my PhD journey, but it is hard to come to terms with the fact that he will not be here physically to witness what we both look forward to💔 Today also makes it one month since my he passed, and life has never been the same since then. Some absences are not just felt, they are lived with, every single day. And yet, I carry his belief in me forward, holding on to the quiet hope that in everything I become, I will still make him proud, even in his absence. Continue to rest in Peace, Baa’yo.
