Basic story can still be a good story, that’s what bothers me the most about this Like, Finding Nemo is basic, it’s about a father going on adventure to find his missing son, but the execution of the writing is phenomenal and makes it one of the best Pixar movies.

The discourse surrounding this movie is heartwarming. A lot of the defenders of the first Mario movie have aged out of their mindless fan service phase and are waking up to the fact that these are Illumination movies at the end of the day. Keep this energy for FNAF3 & minecraft2

Just got out of a midnight showing for the Mario Galaxy movie and I gotta say it was such a massive disappointment. The pacing was so fast that you couldn’t appreciate any given scene and the writing was a total mess. The movie was made for people to mindlessly point at a screen.

@Ohnimus210 It doesn't have a basic story? It has a basic premise The story is what helped the film. Even with a premise as simple, the story helped it elevate it into the charming film as it is I'm sure that Mario Galexy will most likely have a simple story while also still having charm
