I truly don’t get it. Wenceel Perez was 5-48 to finish the regular season with 19 Ks. 0-8 in the playoffs So he’s in the midst of a 5-56 stretch at the plate with 21 Ks and he gets moved to the 3 HOLE TODAY?! He naturally came up in a huge spot and popped up to the mound.

Notre Dame is now -3 in turnover margin tonight. After the Louisville game I checked to see winning percentages of teams based on turnover margin. Since 2019 in Power 5 vs. Power 5 games, teams that were -3 in turnover margin were 37-303 (as of Oct. 11).
