NEWS 🚨: Google warns: quantum computers will break all the internet encryption by 2029. Emails, Bank systems, HTTPS, VPNs, Bitcoin are at risk.

Genuine question for the crypto space. How many blockchains can actually run full internet applications directly on-chain? Not just smart contracts. I mean: • hosting software • serving web pages • running backend logic • storing application state • responding to HTTP requests The Internet Computer (ICP) does this through canisters — smart contract containers that run full applications on-chain. Recently there were reports that ICP canisters were used in a hack targeting Iranian machines. To be clear: @DFINITY had absolutely no involvement in that. But it raises an interesting technical point. If malicious actors even attempt to use a network this way, it suggests the network is capable of real compute infrastructure, not just token transfers. So the question is simple: Which other blockchains can actually do this? Ethereum? Solana? Avalanche? Polkadot? Near? Cosmos? How many of them can run complete internet services fully on-chain without relying on traditional cloud servers? Curious to hear the honest answers.
