I can see that the 1754 has had its journey time extended so that it now arrives into Perth this Sunday at 1915, likely due the service expected to be very busy with boarding following the rugby and having queuing systems in place. I appreciate it's frustrating but I feel it's best to be upfront rather than sticking to the 1905 arrival time, which is unlikely to bet met. I will feed this back for you though as I understand your disappointment especially when booking so far in advance. ^Paul

@ScotRail Scotrail, I’m still seeking an answer on how a delay can be anticipated 2 days prior to travelling? Especially after social media posts suggested extra resilience was in place this weekend. The tickets were purchased through the ScotRail app in August.

@ScotRail @MurrayfieldStad @HampdenPark For Sunday Booked tickets for the 1754 leaving Haymarket to Perth then onwards from Perth to Inverness. Received an email this morning stating the service has been delayed and will affect connection. There is no real alternative option apart from miss the end of the game 1/2
