@craigkellyAFEE Craig, where is your evidence that it was net zero targets causing the downfall of small business? You were part of the LNP government that did nothing to support Australia's small businesses. I.e. You need to accept some of the blame for small business failures.

Craig Kelly:🇦🇺Foundation for Economic Education
After 126 years manufacturing beds in Australia, this proud Australian family company has been forced into administration. It survived World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, the 1973 OPEC oil shock, the Whitlam years, the Keating recession, and the Global Financial Crisis — but it could not survive the Albanese Labor government’s economic sabotage. "Future Made in Australia”? What a contemptible fraud. If Albanese & Bowen persist with their reckless Net Zero fantasy — deliberately driving up energy prices to some of the highest in the developed world, layering on mountains of green tape, punitive carbon taxes, and anti-business regulations that make Australian manufacturing uncompetitive — we won’t even be able to manufacture a can of peas in this country, let alone a bed. The Albanese regime isn’t building the future — it’s torching it with ideological arson. This is what happens when governments choose climate virtue-signalling over economic reality: factories close, workers lose everything, and Australia becomes a nation that can’t make anything except excuses. A very sad day for Australian manufacturing.

@nuclearforaus Nonsense, Will. Australia needs additional power generation now, not in 15+ years. Renewable generation that will already be installed and commissioned would have to be shut down or curtailed to permit nuclear to enter the market or nuclear operated at low capacity factor.

@RaymondKeown3 @ChristineMilne Lol. Even Will Shackel isn't that optimistic. The current estimate for Hinkley C is £46B for 3.2 GW. That equates to A$27B per GW. UK already has nuclear power experience. Australia has none, meaning costs will be higher.

@S_GerardRennick Gerard, have you forgotten already that Queensland voters preferred 2 LNP and ALP candidates and Malcolm Roberts and Larissa Waters to you at the 2025 election? What does that say about their support for your policies?

The Australian Labor Party is facing growing scrutiny as debates intensify around the economy, cost of living, and national direction. Some believe it’s time for a political shift — others argue stability matters more than change. What do you think?

I think there are some chicken-littles that owe me an apology. This is what I just paid for Diesel, and prices everywhere are improving rapidly. Its taken a little longer than I expected but I predicted from the start we would get through this without any of the 'doomsday scenarios' coming true, and here we are, through the worst of it, still intact. The fuel shortage is serious, yes, and its yet to have its full knock-on-effect on the economy, I'm not saying it was trivial or that it didn't hurt, but it was NEVER worthy of the fear-mongering and predictions of doom we've seen from some quarters. Comments are open for apologies below.

@EVCurveFuturist Six years so far. It should be 100% of new bus purchases this year. Anything else is an expensive waste of money.

Stunning... In 2025, electric buses hit ~56% of new EU city bus sales. Add 4% for hydrogen and zero-emission pushes ~60%. From ~12% in 2019 to majority in just a few years. This is how diesel fades. Not through headlines, through procurement decisions. Big, high-utilisation fleets move first. It makes total sense. Buses run all day, return to depots, and burn the most fuel. That’s where the savings hit hardest. And now they’ve flipped. Infrastructure scales. Costs fall. Next comes trucks, then everything else. This isn’t a transition. It’s a wholesale system shift. Cost always wins and all roads lead to total #Bettrification

@Hector_Herrick @JohnRuddick2 @ShackelWill We don't process the uranium in Australia and therefore it needs to be shipped off shore for enrichment and conversion into fuel. Nuclear power is not cheap. It is more expensive than coal and similar to gas in the US. /2

@PaulineHansonOz Pauline, do you have difficulty listening and reading or do you like to lie to the Australian public? Albo and Bowen have repeatedly advised that it is an EXTRA 100M litres. Albo also got commitments from foreign leaders and businesses for previously ordered supplies./2

The Prime Minister held a press conference over the weekend to announce he'd bought "100 million litres of diesel". Australia uses 92 million litres of diesel a day. So the Prime Minister called a big press conference to tell Australia he's secured just over one day worth of fuel. Australia used to be self reliant. We didn't have to buy fuel off other countries because we refined it all here. Net-Zero and Climate Change policies shut our refineries down and made us reliant on foreign countries. We have enough oil, gas, coal and uranium to last us thousands of years. It's time to end Net-Zero so we can use our own resources for cheap energy and fix the cost of living crisis.

@craigkellyAFEE Have you got nothing better to do than regurgitate old news? The budget blowout has been known for years. The building is heritage listed and can't be demolished. After commencing reno's it was found to be full of asbestos and structural and life safety issues.

@Deebel1888 @BenFordhamLive What did you want the government to do? Continue to subsidise the aged and inefficient refineries or build and operate new refineries at the tax payers cost? $20+B for the storage and $40+B for the refineries plus ongoing operational costs.

@LorEssa123456 @FranMooMoo @artilius 🤦 Why are the respective areas of the countries relevant? Brunei supplies Australia with ~10% of its diesel and urea and therefore ensuring that supply continues is extremely important to transport companies, miners and farmers.

“Australia faces a glut of old solar panels polluting the environment by leaching toxic chemicals into landfill with no viable reuse or recycling solutions available, the government's own Department of Climate Change and Energy has warned. The looming environmental crisis has sparked alarm among local councils and regional communities, which have accused the Albanese government of putting money into the rollout of renewable energy but not the decommissioning end of the process. Australia, the world's largest per capita adopter of solar power thanks in large part to Labor government subsidies, now faces its “first significant wave of end-of-life rooftop solar systems" but can't process all the “hazardous" waste that would come from this, the department said. •••••••••••••••••• So much for clean and renewable energy. Compare solar panels to carbon dioxide which is renewed naturally by plant life for free. The fact that so many people are brainwashed by the renewable scam just goes to show how powerful propaganda is.

@RennickGBR Hi Gerard, are you aware of the mountains of toxic waste (ash) that coal power stations create? There are over 400 million tonnes currently 'stored' in Australia. It contains heavy metals including arsenic, lead, mercury, chromium, cadmium, and selenium.
