I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit. My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently. So, here goes.

Chess grandmasters don't see 20 moves ahead. They've just seen 50,000 more positions than you. They're not thinking. They're recognizing. Tony Robbins said mastery has 3 levels: Recognize patterns Predict patterns Create patterns Level 1: Reps. See enough situations and you stop calculating. You just know. Level 2: Reps + reflection. You start seeing what's coming before it arrives. Level 3: Reps + scars. You stop reacting. You become the pattern others respond to. Beginners calculate. Experts recognize. Masters create the board. The gap? Always reps.
