We should put Christmas movies in categories Capitalism sucks - It’s A Wonderful Life, The Grinch, A Christmas Carol (all of them), etc. Family - Elf, The Santa Clause, Home Alone, etc. Believe - Polar Express, Miracle on 34th St., etc. Kick Ass - Die Hard, Batman Returns

@MarkRavenhill2 What would you do in my situation, where you know the scenes before and after the one you are stuck on? Where everything feels so confined, you feel you can only attempt variations of the same answer. (Also Happy Christmas).

@JakeHart_6 Not really - I think after a few goes I just say ‘that scene wasn’t meant to be’ and do something different

Writing tip: I start a writing day and say ‘I’ll just write three lines and then call it a day ‘. 99% of the time I then find ‘I’m enjoying this’ and then write a few pages. But if I don’t enjoy those three lines, I do something else. If a play ain’t ‘play’ I stop until tomorrow

Before last night, I hadn't seen @KBirch_27 perfrom since Anything Goes @LCMLive. Three years later, I saw him playing the lead in @StrangeLoopLDN @BarbicanCentre and am in awe. He carries the show deftly with a wonderful company of actors. Keep going Kyle, you've done us proud

We’re crazy for this show ! Last night with me old pal Anna at ADOAA. The vast Haymarket theatre packed with an audience of all ages and the laughs and politics handed strongly. Last few weeks to catch it.
