@Baltimore_MJD You haven’t explained anything. You just keep repeating yourself without any explanation as trolls do. If anything, I’ve taught you a little something tonight. Be good, do good, God bless, and Go Bills. Good night to you sir.

@Baltimore_MJD You’re just moving the goalposts at this point. He clearly catches it with two hands, you can see one on each nose of the ball. He is then able to bring it in to his body. He jumped to catch it, so he is already going to the ground, at which point McMillain makes a play.

I’ve watched this video countless times and I’ve come to one conclusion… If you think this is a catch by Cooks you either don’t know ball or you’re a Bills fan. There’s no other explanation.

@Baltimore_MJD The NFL's "dual reception" or simultaneous possession rule favors the offense: if an eligible receiver and a defender gain control of a forward pass at the same time, possession is awarded to the offensive player, resulting in a completed catch.

@Baltimore_MJD A catch requires a player to secure control of the ball, get two feet or another body part down inbounds, and then maintain control long enough to perform a "football move" or survive the ground if falling. Adam’s didn’t have time to make a football move and got stripped.

@Baltimore_MJD No, you’re just mad that your guy didn’t get another charity MVP last season and have become the biggest hater and are now choosing to be a chud about it. Cooks got two feet down, pulled the ball to his chest, knee hit the ground and was touched by a defender.

It wasn't a catch because he didn't fulfill the criteria for it to be a catch. You have to maintain possession of the football while hitting the ground, and after hitting the ground and he didn't. Not only was he losing the ball while falling into the ground, but he completely lost control of the ball at the instant he hit the ground

At some point when reviewing plays, the league should consider adding a speed threshold for anything involving the element of time. When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. The game is not played in slow motion or frame by frame. For a catch: A) Secure control of the ball ✅ B) Two feet down in bounds ✅ C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so. C is where there is a judgement needed since A and B are clearly met. Now consider this note to the rule: If a player, who satisfied (a) and (b), but has not satisfied (c), contacts the ground and loses control of the ball, it is an incomplete pass if the ball hits the ground before he regains control, or if he regains control out of bounds. Because Cooks did lose control of the ball when he contacted the ground and the ball never contacted the ground, it was ruled an interception by Denver.

@nflcommish I hope you are watching the Bears/Rams game. It behooves you to give a press conference on why either you or every single officiating crew the NFL employs hates the Bills. Every controversial call for the past 6 years goes against them. Can’t be a confidence anymore.

@TheCTStud @RSherman_25 Cooks has possession with a knee down while being contacted. He doesn’t lose possession until he rolls over and the ball is wrestled away from him. If this isn’t a catch, explain why Cole Bishop was not awarded the INT against Xavier Worthy in the Championship round last year.

@TheCTStud @iceybud @RSherman_25 Sure, a dude with the name Cyber Stud in the Internet who’s never played a snap of NFL football has every right to say that a Hall of Fame defensive back is wrong. Take a seat armchair QB.

@iceybud @RSherman_25 Respect sherm, but he's wrong. Also, players often don't know the rules of their own sport (SEE: romeo doubs recovering watson's "fumble" and players around him thinking it was a TD).

@Pro__Trading @freedom11101775 @GeneSteratore He both had possession, hit the ground with his knee, and was contacted br a defender. If this isn’t a catch, then the Bears come back win a few weeks ago shouldn’t have happened either.
